The perfect marriage does not exist, but with the application of accurate information (biblical principles) and the Holy Spirit, you can build a great marriage.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Knowledge is information. Many marriages are destroyed because couples do not have information, or they have embraced inaccurate information. To have a great marriage, you must apply accurate information. At Marriage Built Right, we endeavor to provide married couples with accurate information to build marriage correctly – God’s way.
Dr. Mike served in the U.S. Air Force for twenty years. For sixteen of those twenty years, he worked as an Engineer Technician. His duties included: drafting, surveying, construction inspection, and contract management. As an inspector, he ensured contractors provided all the tools, equipment, materials, and labor to build facilities and houses according to the drawings and specifications.
Inevitably, some contractors would cut corners to get the work done cheaper and faster; not building according to design and cheating the government in the process.
This same attitude exists in many marriages. Instead of following God’s design for marriage, couples think they can cut corners and still build a great marriage. However, marriage does not work that way. Just like a house, it may look good from the outside, but an expensive repair or even a collapse is on the way.
