Our Story

Mike and Jai Scaife have been married for 43 years, and they have served in the Marriage Ministry for 15 years - mentoring, coaching, and counseling married couples, and those engaged to be married. They have witnessed countless marriages rescued, restored, and flourishing using Biblical Principles. Mike and Jai are both ministers of the gospel.

Michael earned a PhD in Scriptural Psychology and Theology. His graduate degree is in Business Administration, and his undergraduate degree is in Workforce Education and Development, which taught him adult learning principles. His passion is teaching the word of God and relationship building.

Jai is also an educator. She is a retired School Teacher. She dedicated her career to working with special needs students where she creatively modified lessons so the student could better comprehend the material. She has worked on a variety of challenging cases, both in the U.S. and abroad, with a 100% success rate. Her passion is to see hurting marriages healed.

Mike & Jai became Certified course facilitators at Family Dynamics Institute in June 2009, certified to lead Family Dynamics Institute’s interactive courses to bless marriages and families.

In 2023 Mike and Jai established Marriage Build Right LLC (MBR). The mission of MBR is to equip couples with the tools to build and sustain strong healthy relationships, based on Biblical Principles.

Mike and Jai are active members of Sheffield Family Life Center in Kansas City, Missouri where they assist in the “Marriage Works” Ministry.
